It finally arrived! Every other month I impatiently await the arrival of my Wizarding World lootcrate box. I usually do a live unboxing video but truth be told this month has been pretty crazy for me and so I couldn't wait until I got home I had to open the box up right then and there. I do want to mention for any one who may be reading this who is a Potterhead like myself but may not be subscribed to this crate, DO IT...Seriously...Do it NOW
Every item in this box is created exclusively for Lootcrate and is licensed and approved by the god herself, J.K. Rowling. I was originally subscribed to Lootcrate, Lootcrate Gaming, Nerdblock & Wizarding World. I have since cancelled all subscriptions with the exception of this one. I have yet to be disappointed in any of the crates. Given its my #1 fandom (Ironman as a close second) I know that I will make use or truly love all the items I receive.

Be warned now! If you don't want to know what's in this box do not read any further because I'm about to SPOIL the hell out of this box. So my friends and I have been calling eachother Patroni's for a few years now. Considering we always help each other out of sadness we figured it was fitting. So I was EXTREMELY happy when I saw the Doe and Expecto Patronum on the label. Every label always gives a clue as to what theme of the crate and the items inside will be focused on. So I already figured this had something to do with the Dark Arts.
Now it's time to talk about what actually came in the box.
1. Guardians of Hogwarts Bookends:
We all remember that wonderful moment (in the movies) when McGonagall comes out and uses that one spell she's been waiting forever to use. The epic moment these soldiers come down and guard the school at the Battle of Hogwarts. Now you can have these men guard your books. The bookends are made out of medal and have some really good weight on them. I figured something cool was inside when I felt how heavy it was. The detail of the art is really good as well. I know I'll be using these to watch my Harry Potter books.
2. Professor Snape's Premium Wand Pen

You can't have a box about Dark Arts and not have something Snape related in it. The pen is a die-cast and resin replica of Snapes wand where the bottom handle of the wand is a sheath for the pen. The pen is a regular ballpoint pen but writes pretty smooth. I'm a sucker for pens and really OCD about my stationary so I can't personally see myself using this as an every day pen. However, it's the perfect pen to sit nicely on your desk and for you to hand to customers or clients to sign that paperwork in HP Style.
3. Marvolo's Ring Enamel Pincrux
Every box has had a unique pin included. This one is by far one of my favorites thus far. The second Horcrux and what ultimately put Dumbledore on his early death bed (yes I know it's not what actually killed him, but it would've if the wizard mentioned above hadn't...seriously..read the books lol) makes for a great pin to add to my bag.
4. Defence Against the Dark Arts Journal
Every secret society needs a way of keeping track of their secret plans. Ok..maybe having them written down isn't the smartest of idea but who cares. I'm a journal FANATIC. So anytime there's a journal in a crate it's a win for me. This lovely journal comes with the Dumbledore's Army emblem on the front and the Order of the Phoenix emblem on the back. Not sure what I will use this pocket journal for but I am SURE I'll find something.
5. Counter Curse T-shirt
It's a fun unique HP shirt you know no one else will be wearing. And if you happen to catch someone else sporting the same Tee then at least you know you already have 2 things in common. You both love Harry Potter and you're both subscribed the the Wizarding World crate. The t-shirt is made with soft fabric and is a nice shade of blue as well. Most shirts received in other crates/subscription boxes tend to be black. Though 75% of my wardrobe is black it's still nice to add some pop to my attire every now and then. Since I'm not girly either BLUE is perfect!
My Thoughts:
Overall if I was to rate this box from 1-10 I would have to give this box a 9. Everything in the box is extremely useful. The bookends and snape pen are truly unique and something I can get some good use out of. The pin is not to big or bulky (last months was Tom Riddles diary and that was rather large) so I can actually place this on my bag without any worries. The journal itself is always handy but given that we received a journal in the Fantastic Beast Box at the end of last year I deducted the box a point. Otherwise...another great crate from J.K. & Lootcrate.
